We took the NYC Freedom Tour and hoped we could learn more about NYC. The tour included riding on a New York Water Taxi, passing by the Statue of Liberty, visiting 9/11 Memorial, and walking with a tour guide to the Financial District, Brooklyn Bridge, St. Paul’s Chapel, and Trinity Church. The very informative tour involved intensive walking on the lower Manhattan. Due to the fact that we were going to see many major attractions and I wanted to take as many photos as possible, the time was a little bit tight. The guide was good and provided us with background of the places we visited. If the walking tour could be extended for an hour longer, then it would be perfect.
We started the tour with the New York Water Taxi at Pier 84 on West 44th Street. The pier is located next to the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum. On board the water taxi, you have an excellent view of the aircraft carrier Intrepid and the Space Shuttle Pavilion that houses the space shuttle Enterprise. The water taxi headed south, and we could see Manhattan and New Jersey on either side. I spent more time focusing on the Manhattan’s skyscrapers and taking lots of photos during the cruising. We disembarked at Battery Park. The first stop was the Castle Clinton and the last was the Brooklyn Bridge.
After we boarded again at Battery Park, we took the water taxi back to Pier 84. We went a slightly different route to have an unforgettable view of the famous Brooklyn Bridge and approached the Statue of Liberty, letting us have the opportunity to see these monuments from different angles. It was a wonderful experience to see many impressive attractions in just a few hours. I would recommend that you take the NYC Freedom Tour when you visit NYC; you can book it at New York Water Taxi website.

DeleteThe car rental services are good in India. Do you also provide drivers or self driven like taxi cab service?
