Barcelona Cathedral (Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia) is at the Plaça de la Seu, in the Barri Gòtic district, not far from La Rambla. You can take the metro either yellow line L4 to Jaume I station or green line L3 to Liceu station and walk from there.
Barcelona Cathedral is a Catalan Gothic architecture. The church is 93m long and 40m wide. The octagonal clock towers are about 50m high and the spire on the central tower is more than 70m tall. They were built between 1386 and 1393.
The Cathedral has 28 side chapels. The crypt beneath the high altar contains the sarcophagus of Santa Eulalia. You can drop coins in a slot to light up the crypt. The Cathedral also has a beautifully carved choir. The beautiful cloister has a delightful fountain, some garden plants and 13 geese. Each goose represents one year of Santa Eulalia’s life. An elevator in the northeast of the Cathedral brings you to the roof.
Unfortunately the church is under renovation inside and out. It seems the restoration needs several years to complete. We were not able to see the beautiful 14th century cloister because it was closed at the time of our visit. We did not even realize there is an elevator that could bring us to the top of the Cathedral. It gives us all the reasons to come back again.

I am a church lover. The Cathedral was built more than 600 years ago and your photos shows its beautiful interior. I need to visit it someday. Thanks.
