We rode the gondola
to the Skyline Restaurant on the hill top to have a good buffet and enjoy the
view. Skyline Restaurant was voted by TripAdvisor the #1 restaurant with
incredible views in the world. We were there to celebrate the Chinese New Year
Eve. The package included the gondola ride taking you to the Skyline complex,
Luge, the Kiwi Haka show and the dinner. Once you reach the top, you will enjoy
the stunning view of the Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu.
We had a dinner at the Skyline Restaurant with “Taste of New Zealand” buffet. It served not only a variety of foods and drinks but also magnificent panoramic views. You need to register as early as possible even you purchase the dinner with your gondola ticket so you can enjoy the view with a window seat. The Kiwi Haka show was OK, not as expected though. Strongly recommend to visit Skyline when you are in Queenstown.
